Trailer Mechanic
Jilco is seeking a dependable, experienced Trailer Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on its refrigerated trailer fleet, working in a heated indoor facility with a strong safety record.
Trailer Mechanic
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Expected Hours
42 hours per week
Responsibilities
- General trailer maintenance and repair
- Brake-system repairs
- ABS diagnostics
- Steel and aluminum welding
- Minor bodywork
- Liftgate repairs — liftgate repair experience is compensated at an additional rate
Qualifications
- 3+ years of trailer-repair experience
- Valid driver's license

Refrigeration Mechanic
Thermo King and/or Carrier Certified
Jilco is seeking a Thermo King and/or Carrier-certified Refrigeration Mechanic to join its growing team, working in a well-equipped, heated shop.
Refrigeration Mechanic
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Expected Hours
42 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Replace compressors, motors, switches, and sensors
- Leak-test, repair, and recharge refrigerant systems
- Collaborate with the shop team to support quality and timely completion
Qualifications
- Thermo King and/or Carrier certification
- EPA Refrigerant Certification
- Strong computer and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of applicable DOT, OSHA, and EPA requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
